Never realised before, but Hamburg is only 3.5-hours driving from my house. In other words, peanuts. And, as I discovered recently, very worthwhile.
I’m going to see Michelle Obama! Unfortunately, I am probably not going to meet her personally (I think). I have tickets for her book presentation at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam next month! I’m so excited!

New Year’s Eve in Sydney

The House of the Mosque

Yes, they still do exist! New books that blow you away. Circe by Madeline Miller. A book about Greek mythology…..really?
Rome, Madrid, London, this time we had picked Berlin for our girlfriends-weekend! By train! At least the early birds. I have actually discovered one advantage of living in the “Achterhoek”.
